The Psychological Center, Inc. is a nonprofit agency with long history of serving the Greater Lawrence community with quality and compassionate services designed for flexibility and growth. TPC offers a wide range of services through it’s three programs: Daybreak Shelter, Pegasus House, and Women’s View. The Psychological Center is committed to serving individuals living with substance or alcohol addiction, mental health issues or homelessness by providing structured and comprehensive environments that offer hope while empowering individuals to achieve recovery with respect and without stigma. Each person receives individualized treatment to make changes happen toward a healthy and meaningful future.
Our programs assist clients in achieving individualized goals, provide education on relapse prevention, and focus on successful transition from the program. The continuum of care provides clients with many services including assistance obtaining health care, skill building to maintain recovery, life skills for a healthy future, and resources for aftercare planning. Our program structure and approach is to guide and support clients’ progress through early recovery stages to independence and self-sufficiency.
The Psychological Center is recognized as being a premier provider of services in the Merrimack Valley to help people who are experiencing mental health issues, substance or alcohol abuse, opiate addiction, and homelessness.
