The Psychological Center’s 3rd Annual Overcoming Obstacles Gala – EMPOWERING THE FUTURE, October 12, 2018, will honor those who empower others towards self-sufficiency and those who have been empowered and are now living productive lives. The night will feature dinner, entertainment, auctions, and memories of how you helped empower individuals in need.
Starting with the restoration of dignity, our three programs, Daybreak Shelter, Pegasus House, and Women’s View stabilize our guests in a safe place where their basic human needs are met.
Once our guests feel the security of a reliable environment to heal, they work with their case manager on individualized plans to move them forward. Our guests work within the programs to develop foundations and collect the tools necessary to build healthy futures.
We meet each guest where they are in their recovery, mental health treatment, housing and employment search, while promoting vocational training, life skills, financial literacy, workplace literacy and education.
On behalf of our guests we thank you for caring about their future.
